After exceptional rains at the beginning of May, which somewhat delayed the harvest of the famous salt Le Guérandais, sunshine and warmth have made a comeback to the delight of the paludiers. 

True craftsmen of art, the men of the marshes today still reproduce ancestral gestures to extract the grain of salt from the drop of seawater.Unlike refined salts, Le Guérandais salt is not washed, chemically treated or added to. It is simply sorted and sieved to ensure consistent quality for consumers.
