Our know-how

Le Guérandais Guérande Salt comes from the Guérande salt marshes, where it is produced by the combined actions of the ocean, sun and wind.

It is hand-harvested, using the unique, ancestral skills of the salt workers.
It is 100% natural and unrefined and contains no additives.

Since 2012, Guérande salt and "Fleur de sel" have benefited from a PGI (Protected Geographical Indication). By complying with strict specifications, the salt marsh workers within the "Salines de Guérande" cooperative produce manually-collected sea salt, that is not washed after harvest and to which no additives are added.

Guérande salt is also strictly controlled by an official certification body (CERTIPAQ), within the framework of the Label Rouge certification process.
Its Nature & Progrès (organic farming) label acts as a guarantee of environmental preservation.
It thus offers the pleasure of an original salt… a “terroir” salt.
