Traceability, food safety and quality/certification labels

Traceability is a key part of the monitoring of our product from the salt marshes (site listed in 1996) to the consumer’s plate. It forms part of each major stage in our production and of an ongoing inspection of our products.

In an increasingly demanding quality and food safety context we have for many years anticipated developments by using “HACCP” (risk analysis and control over critical food safety aspects) and “IFS" Food (International Featured Standards) approach.

These approaches help us to control quality and manage risks affecting the safety of our products as part of a continuous improvement strategy.

At the same time, modern tools help us optimise company traceability, from when our producer members send us salt from their salt farms to the moment we dispatch to customers.
